Covid-19 FAQ

An email was sent out Friday, May 15 to all residents. You can read it HERE. Most every question is answered in that document. If not, please contact your RD, HD or chapter housing representative for more information.

Failure by residents, their friends, family or agents to abide by the appointment schedule and distancing guidelines could result in the suspension of the move-out process for that house. Once rescheduled, additional security would be provided with the full cost passed on to the House Corporation. In addition, the chapter could face additional penalties and sanctions.

Please check with your HD/RD, House Corporation, or chapter exec representative to find out what is they have decided. It is up to each House Corporation.

Remember that your contract with the House Corporation states that Renters Insurance or your parent or guardian’s insurance is required to cover your personal belongings in the house. Neither the House Corporation, Chapter nor the University are responsible for any personal items left in the house. Please remember that the houses will not be air conditioned over the summer so consider that when you think about what to leave in your room.

Please let your Resident Director or House Director know, as well as your House Corporation so that they will have a record of it. They may ask you to hold onto it until return to campus is permitted. If you are not returning to campus, please contact Heidi Biffl, Senior Housing Coordinator and she will provide further instructions.

Please contact your House Corporation if you have not already heard from them

We hope that everyone is able to pick up their belongings during the official period of May 21 to June 7. However if you cannot, please contact your RD, HD or House Corporation representative and we will work with you to try to arrange access.

Please monitor your campus email regularly. For general campus information, go to We will continue to update this FAQ document as we have new information.
