|Chapter House FIRE WATCH Information||Fire Watch is the process that a chapter must follow should any of the fire safety systems be offline. That includes loss of water, power or failure of the fire alarm system. In these situations, chapters and their House Corporations have a choice: 1) Evacuate the house until the issue is resolved, or 2) Begin the Fire Watch process.
If a Fire Watch is required for a large number of the houses, DFSL and DRF will help coordinate the process. Otherwise it is the responsibility of the chapter, with the assistance of the House Director/Resident Director to manage the process.
The following forms should be printed and used in situations where a house is on Fire Watch:
